A name or location entered into a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Pratt County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
Information sent by email or a contact form is retained as needed to answer the message. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal page requests may provide technical and usage details, including:
- IP address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages visited and time spent;
- referring page, when supplied; and
- request timestamps.
Cookies
Cookies may help measure how visitors use the site. Browser controls can block or remove them, though parts of the site or an outside tool may then behave differently.
How Data Is Used

Links lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release-record sources, government portals, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination’s privacy policy governs its collection and use.
Advertising providers may track activity across websites for interest-based ads. That processing occurs through their systems and policies, not as a Pratt County government function.
Parties Receiving Data
Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed to search partners handling a submitted query, analytics providers, advertising networks, and law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
